We built the tool we wished we'd had.

Anchor started with a problem we lived for years: choosing who to staff on which project, and only seeing what it cost the business months later.

Staffing is a financial decision. We're making firms treat it like one.

In a service firm, every assignment moves project margin, bench cost and capacity risk. Yet those decisions are made on skills and availability alone — the financial impact only surfaces at quarter-end, in a different system, when nothing can be changed.

We saw this from the inside, running staffing, delivery and P&L decisions across hundreds of projects in service organizations at scale. The talent platforms on the market couldn't help: they're built on an HR data layer, with finance bolted on, if at all. So we set out to build something different — a platform where talent matching and financial impact live in one model. We call the category Financial Workforce Intelligence.

The founding team

Three operators who lived this problem — now building the answer.

Anchor's founding team brings together 60+ years of combined leadership across the three disciplines this product demands: delivery, talent and engineering. Each founder has run their lane at scale — in environments where every staffing call had a P&L attached.

On the delivery side, two decades of leading large-scale software programs across banking, the public sector and cybersecurity. Owning bench, capacity and program profitability — and knowing exactly where the bleed happens.

On product and HR domain, two decades of global HR strategy and talent product leadership inside large service organizations. First-hand exposure to where staffing, performance and retention break — and what actually fixes them.

On engineering, data and AI, two and a half decades leading large-scale software, data and AI programs. Has scaled engineering organizations of hundreds of people and built the systems Anchor runs on.
